Cookies trifle: the delicious and super creamy English dessert!
Layers of pure goodness Here's how to make a super creamy and delicious trifle
INGREDIENTS:
- Chocolate cookies
- 1 egg
- 50g (1/4 cup) sugar
- a pinch of salt
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 20g (2 1/2 tbsp) flour
- 20g (2 1/2 tbsp) cornstarch
- 500ml (2 cups) milk
- 50g (1/4 cup) butter
- 100g (3/4 cup) milk chocolate
- 50ml (1/4 cup) vegetable oil
METHOD:
1. Pour egg, sugar, salt, vanilla, cornstarch, and flour into the pot. Mix very well. Turn on the heat and mix until melted.
2. Add the milk and mix well.
3. Add butter and mix again until thick.
4. Arrange the cookies neatly on a baking tray.
5. Pour the custard on top of the cookies and spread it all over the cookies until completely covered.
6. Repeat until the tray is full. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
7. Melt chocolate and mix with vegetable oil. Pour on top of the cake and refrigerate for 1 hour.
